Kathryn writes screenplays, novels, articles, and the occasional shopping list. For her most recent project, feature film TANGO UNDERPANTS, she received two rounds of ScreenWest development funding, and the screenplay was shortlisted for the West Coast Visions award. She has twice been selected as a finalist in the Open Channel Pitching Competition - for web series TRIPLE D and feature film POLE POSITION. Other screen credits include short films LIBRARY OF LOVE, TANGO UNDERPANTS, TURNING TRICKS, and web series TALES FROM TINDER.

Kathryn holds a PhD in Marketing from Monash University. She works as a technology journalist for Google, and a staff writer for Bite Me art and culture magazine. Her first novel, ALEX AND THE ALPACAS SAVE THE WORLD, is being released in May 2019, published by Fremantle Press. She spends way too much time in conversation with imaginary characters, and not-so-secretly wishes she lived in a dance movie.
